One of the best Belgian quadrupels.  Full bodied dark with an ivory head, complex flavours and fruity aromas. St Bernardus contract brewed for Westvleteren and this beer is reputed to be the original recipe subsequently developed into the scarce Westvleteren 12 once the trappist abbey of St Sixtus returned to brewing.
