It’s just not enough to brew a beer with at least 18% original gravity to be able to call it a Doppelbock. For the coveted ending –ator, it – the Doppelbock – must also be dark. These are the rules. With our Ator we go a little further: a two-week fermentation process and 8-week storage make it particularly pleasant and well-rounded. We brewed the Innovator to unite the two churches that are our neighbours in Giesing. Because whether Catholic or Protestant – we think you can get closer over a beer. Especially when it’s such a heavenly temptation.
